Step-by-Step Adoption Process

Submit an Inquiry Fill out our short Puppy Inquiry Form or email us at info@hammihavenese.org. Tell us a little about your family, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for in a Havanese companion. We’ll reply within 24 hours with answers and next steps.
Application & Screening Once you’ve chosen a puppy (or joined our waitlist), we’ll send you a simple adoption application. This helps us ensure every Hammi puppy goes to a loving, suitable home. We review your application quickly and may schedule a friendly phone or video call.
Reserve Your Puppy Pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your chosen puppy. This deposit is applied toward the final price. You’ll receive a Puppy Reservation Agreement outlining all details, health guarantees, and our policies.
Puppy Preparation Period While your puppy grows (typically until 8–10 weeks old), we provide regular updates with new photos and videos. Your puppy receives:
- Full veterinary health check
- Age-appropriate vaccinations & deworming
- Microchip
- Early socialization & basic training
- A personalized care package with food samples, toys, grooming tools, and detailed health records
Final Payment & Shipping / Pickup Balance is due before travel. You can choose:
- Safe nationwide delivery (via trusted pet transport or air cargo)
- Pickup at our location (by appointment)
Once your puppy is on the way, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details.
Welcome Home! Your puppy arrives happy, healthy, and ready to bond. We stay in touch with lifetime support for any questions about training, grooming, health, or behavior.

Important Notes
- All puppies leave our home at a minimum of 8 weeks old, per ethical breeding standards.
